So we have had a really good flow on the project, there hasn't been any huge problems or setbacks so far…. But that changed today, as we ran into some major things instead. We planned that all the final things would be implemented by Friday this week and the rest of the remaining time for the project would be towards polish and bug fixing.
BUT when we imported the rest of the playable characters we found that one of the playable characters was locked in a different scale(rigged and animated on the wrong scale).
And some of the animations for the other playable characters broke when they were converted to the Tengine engine. That means in our current state we have had 1 fully playable character and very little time to fix the problem. The graphics artist has given an estimated timeframe on how long it would take to solve the problem. From their knowledge, it would take roughly half a day to fix the problems.
That's if it does not occur any more problems.
Our programmers found some bugs that affected the dash, that took up some of their time, there were also some problems with some animations when the programmers tried to implement them I don’t know the exact details about how they solved it, but they solved one of the problems.
Feels really annoying that everything up until this point has been smooth sailing(some small setbacks, but solvable), and on the final stretch of our journey we encounter something like this, that could be a massive hole in our “ship”
other then that, I have made some tweaking and Quality assurance for the game.
